Steps

    To begin, tap the home button to access the lock screen

    You can also unlock the phone by pressing the power button located on the right-hand side of the device.

    Swipe to the right in order to unlock your phone
    .
    If you have a passcode enabled, input your passcode. If you have it enabled, you can also press your finger onto the home button, which is also a fingerprint scanner.

    Tap on the Reminders application
    .
    The icon is a white box with four different colored circles and some lines. I tend to keep everything in folders to be more organized. For me, the reminders application is in the "Other" folder.

    Click on the reminder you want to edit and then you will see the blue "I" located to the side of the reminder
    .
    Pressing the "I" will allow you to make more specific changes.

    If you want to be reminded, press the switch to the right of "Remind me on a day"
    .
    The switch will turn green once the alarm is enabled. If you want to change the alarm date and time, tap on it, and you can scroll through to choose the date and time you would like.

    You can also choose to repeat the alarm by tapping on "Repeat"

    The options are every day, every week, every 2 weeks, every month, every year, and custom. Press the back arrow to go back to the screen to edit your information.

    You can also edit the location by tapping on the switch next to "Remind me at a location", then tapping on "Location" to access a location
    .
    For example, if you would like to be reminded to feed your dog every time you walk past the park, you could do that.

    You also have the option to indicate how much of a priority this reminder is

    You can select one, two, or three exclamation marks, or none. My dog gets quite angry when he's hungry, so I'm going to press two.

    You have the option to add some notes at the bottom by tapping on "Notes"

    This will bring up your keyboard.

    Once you are finished, press the "Done" button located on the top right corner of the screen

    It has the title, two exclamation marks so it's right at the top, the time & date, and the notes.
