Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to edit a group on the WhatsApp application when using a Microsoft Lumia 535.
To begin, press the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone.
Swipe the lock screen up to access the home screen.
Find and tap the WhatsApp tile. If it is not on your home screen, swipe to the left and it will bring up the app menu. Find the application here.
Tap on the group you want to edit.
Enter the options menu by tapping on the three dots icon located on the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
Press "group info" to show more details.
To change the image of the group, press on the image above the word "subject."
To change the subject of the group, simply tap on blue words under the word "subject" to edit it.
You have the option to mute your group by tapping on the blue text under "mute" to silence notifications from the group for a certain amount of time.
Tap on the + sign located to the right of "add participant" to add more people to your group. You are limited to 100 slots.
You can also pin this group to the home screen by tapping on the pin icon. This makes accessing the group more convenient.
If you want to exit the group, tap on the three dots icon located on the bottom right corner of the screen. From here, tap on "exit group" to leave it.
