    To begin, we need to unlock the phone either pressing the Lock button on the side or the Home button on the at the bottom

    Swipe to the right to enter the Passcode or use the fingerprint scanner as shown

    Find the MapMyRun icon, which is blue and white

    Tap once to open up the app.

    It will automatically take us to this page where we can begin to record the workout

    However we need to tap these three horizontal in the top left-hand corner to bring up the menu

    Scroll all the way down until we find "Settings" which is second from the bottom with a cog on the left-hand side

    Tap on that.

    Here we can go to our workout settings which is this first option

    First we have the option to enable or disable the "Voice Feedback."

    We can disable if we don't want it at all

    We can change the volume using the scroller.

    We can suggest how many "Intervals" we want them to talk to us
    .
    Either by "Distance" or by "Time." This example has it set to every "5 minutes" as can be seen.

    We can just click on whichever one we want

    At the moment this one is two minutes with the checkmark on the right-hand side has moved.

    We go back and we can edit our "Total Distance," our "Total Time," etc., just by pressing on the bubble to disable or enable and it goes blue

    We don't need to press Save anywhere for that.

    We can go back to "Settings" in our the left-hand corner

    We can do the same with the "Delay Start Timer" where we simply click which ever time suits us

    We see it takes us back to the screen where the checkmark is here where we indicated

    We don't need to press Save anywhere.

    Then we can change our "Unit."

    If we prefer to be in "Metric" or "Imperial." This example uses "Imperial," but we can select kilometers if that's what we prefer

    We can change our "Heart Rate Zones," but that's only if we've upgraded to MVP which we can see is indicated by the orange teardrop shape on the right-hand side

    Next, we can enable or disable three options
    .
    "Prefer Speed For All Activities" can be enabled or disabled. We can "Auto Pause," enable or disable, "Keep Screen On," enable or disable, and so on.

    Finally, we have to "Configure Stats." We click on it

    Then we can select exactly which ones we want to configure

    This is very technical really. We just click on here to enable which ones are shown during our workout.

    Go back by pressing "Settings" in the top left-hand corner

    We don't need to press Save because this is automatically saved now, in our Settings.

    Tap on "Record a Workout."

I want my settings to show pace and not speed - I have nothing further to add to that?

I want to change my settings so that I get pace of x minutes per km instead of speed measured as km / hr - please advise how to edit. Currently my settings have listed under "shown during workout Duration Distance Speed……would like to edit this to pace Average speed……..would like to edit this to average pace Calories Then there are many things that are listed under not shown during workout How do I edit these?
