Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to edit your Vine profile when using the Vine application on a Microsoft Lumia 535.
To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the right-hand side of the phone. This will bring up the lock screen.
Swipe the lock screen up to reveal the home screen.
On the home screen, find the Vine tile. In this example, Vine is at the bottom of the home screen. The vile title has a turquoise background with a "V" on it. The icon switches between images from recently viewed Vines and the Vine logo. If the Vine tile is not pinned to the home screen, swipe left to access it in the app menu. Tap the Vine tile to open the application.
The application will automatically play a Vine, so tap on the video to pause it. We need to go to the settings menu.
Tap on the 3 white dots in the bottom right corner. This will open the menu.
Tap on "settings" at the bottom of the list. This will bring up our application settings.
Under our email address, there is a text box that says "a few words about yourself"; tap on that to start typing. We're just going to write "hello".
Tap on the "location" text box to enter in the location. We're just going to write "mars". Tap off of the text box to hide the keyboard.
We also have the option to choose a color for our profile. We will choose the light blue circle. It will have a smiley face in it when it's selected.
Swipe down further to enter the email address and phone number. Tapping on "Your Content" will bring up some more options that we will talk about in different videos. Search for those to see more information such as protected and sensitive posts.
Press the white back arrow in the bottom left corner to go back.
In the "Friends" section, we have the option to find people, invite via text or invite via email.
Below that, in the "Social Networks" section, we have the ability to connect our Vine account with Twitter or Facebook. Our Twitter is already connected and we also have the option to connect our Facebook account allowing us upload our Vines to Facebook instantly.
The final option we have in the pink colored bar at the bottom is "Logout". This will log us out of the Vine application.
This concludes the tutorial on how to edit your Vine profile when using the Vine application on the Microsoft Lumia 535. If you have any questions or comments about this video or about the application itself, please leave them in the comment section below and we will answer them for you. Thank you for watching VisiHow.
