Edit URL on Google With iPhone 6
Edited by Freya, JellyBean, Eng
You're watching VisiHow. In this video, I'm going to show you how you can edit your URL on the Google application when using the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, we need to unlock the phone by pressing the Lock button on the side, or the Home button at the bottom
.
2
Swipe, and we can enter our passcode or use the fingerprint scanner
.
3
Find the "Google" icon, which is the blue and white one with the recognizable lowercase Google "g"
.
4
Tap this icon once to open up the app
.
It takes us automatically to a search page. We can either use the search bar or the microphone to find something. The steps for doing that are covered in another video.
5
Today, we're going to skip straight through
.
6
Once we bring up our search results, we can scroll down and click on whichever site we like
.
7
Then, in the top right-hand corner, in the light blue bar, there will be three vertical white dots
.
8
Click on those dots to bring up a new window
.
9
Go to the second option down, which is "Edit URL"
.
It has a pencil on the left-hand side.
10
We are currently on "pinkfloyd.com", where we have a cursor waiting for us to type at the end of that URL
.
11
We can just delete as we like and change to whatever we want to search for
.
12
Then either press "CANCEL" to go back or "GO" to go to that new page
.
13
We see now, it's loaded our new URL
.
14
We can go back to our previous screen by pressing the arrow in the bottom left-hand corner
.
15
We can go back to our main search screen by pressing the blue circle with the Google "g" in the middle
.
16
This takes us back to where we started
.
17
This is a VisiHow video, and I've just shown you how you can edit a URL on the Google application when using the iPhone 6
.
