Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to edit or change profile information in the Twitter application on an HTC One M8.

Steps

To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone
.
Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up

Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.

We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen
.
There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

Now that the folder has been opened, we need to find and tap the Twitter application
.
There is a Twitter icon, which is a blue background with a white bird on tap, and underneath it says the word "Twitter". Your application may be in a different location, so look for the icon in your folder. We want to demonstrate how to edit or change our profile information, and to do that we need to find our personal profile.

To do that, we should first tap the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen

There are 3 small white dots in a vertical line. This will open a menu.

We should tap on the first option, where it shows our own personal username

In this case, it says "TomTomthumb @visihowl".

Tap on "Edit profile" on the right-hand side

We can change the photo by pressing down on the photo

We can also edit our name by pressing down on it to bring up the keyboard

It will give us some suggestions, but we can type in anything we want. We'll type in "Moon".

That will save all of our profile information so that people can see that information. We can edit this at any time by going to our profile and tapping on "Edit profile".
