Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to edit priority notifications on the Play Games application on an HTC One M8.
To begin, turn the phone On by pressing the power button located on top of the phone.
Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen; to unlock the screen, swipe the screen upwards.
Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen and at the bottom, we will see these icons. It is one of these icons that we now need to access as we need to open up the applications folder.
To open the applications folder, we need to press this icon located in the bottom center of the home screen. The icon is a grid of white dots.
In the applications folder, we need to find the Play Games application. Mine is located here. We can see that there is an icon of a green controller and underneath, it says the words "Play Games". Your Play Games application may be in a different position in this folder. Therefore, you will need to find it and press down on it to enter the application.
We now need to find the Settings menu and to do that, we need this icon located in the top left-hand corner of the screen. The icon looks like three white horizontal lines. Pressing down on the icon will open a new menu.
In the new menu, we are looking for the word "Settings"; press down on "Settings" and it will open up our settings menu.
We want to press down on the "Allow priority notifications from". Underneath, it says "Your circles" which is the option that is currently selected.
Here we have a list of all the different areas that we can select to receive priority notifications from. Currently, it says "Your circles" at the top because we have that option selected from the list underneath. The box next to "Your circles" is green with a check inside which means that it is selected.
If we want to add any of these areas, we can do that by pressing down on the boxes. For example, "Extended circles", "Public" to make public notifications priorities. We can see that they are being added to the list above.
If we want to remove any of these options from the list, we can press on the box again until the boxes are empty. The option will also be removed from the list above.
Once we are happy with our choices, we can press down on the blue word "FINISH" in the bottom right-hand corner.
Now we can see that it still says "Your circles" and that is the only group that we have allows priority notifications for.
This concludes our tutorial on how to edit priority notifications from the Play Games application on an HTC One M8.
