- 11The TalkBack function allows the HTC One M8 to talk to us. It can tell us what the buttons are, and read text to us. It's very useful for people with limited vision or blind people. What the "Keyboard echo" function does, is when we are typing, every time we touch a key the HTC One M8 is going to tell us what it is. For example, if we press the letter 'A', the HTC One M8 is going to say "A". We can edit this function to behave the way that's right for us. Press down on this section, and a menu with three "Keyboard echo" options will appear. Now we want this option here, "Keyboard echo".
- 12The option that is currently selected says "Always speak typed keys." The green circle is here, which means that this is the selected option. The second option is, "Only for on-screen keyboard". The third option is, "Never speak typed keys." This is the other extreme within these options. It will never speak typed keys. Every time we press a key, it won't say anything. Depending on our level of vision or depending on why we are using this TalkBack feature, we can edit this choice based on our own preferences and needs. Press down on the option that we want. Let's press on "Never speak typed keys".We have three options to choose from.
