You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we're going to show you where you can edit your goals on the Fitbit application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, unlock the phone. Either press the lock button on the side, or the home button at the bottom.
Swipe from left to right across the screen.
Enter the passcode, or press a finger to the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
Find the Fitbit icon. It is black with a diamond-shaped collection of white and blue dots on it. Tap once to open it up. It should automatically take us to our dashboard, which displays today's information. Everyone's numbers will be different, but the information categories will be the same. Otherwise, it might have asked us to sign in. Please refer to our other video, where we demonstrate how to sign in to Fitbit on the iPhone 6.
In the bottom right-hand corner, tap "Accounts".
Find the "GOALS" section. In this demonstration, it's the first section in this tab.
Tap the number to the right of "Steps" to edit the Steps goal. In this demonstration, our goal is set to 10,000 steps per day. We will change it to 12,000. Tap and type, and choose a suitable goal. Ten thousand is the default number.
Tap the number to the right of "Distance" to edit the Distance goal. This is the distance that we want to aim to cover in a day. Tap and type. We will change ours to 8 km.
Tap the number to the right of "Calories Burned" to edit this goal. This is the number of calories we aim to burn in a day. When we set up our account, we went through and added our current weight, and our goal weight. This produces a recommended number of calories that we need to burn per day that is healthy. We will change ours to 1000.
Press "Account" in the top left corner. Everything is automatically saved.
Tap the number next to "Water" to edit the daily water goal. The current number is the recommendation that takes into account what we input for our height and weight. However, we can edit it if we prefer. We will change ours to 1,000 ml.
Tap on the number to the right of "Food" to edit the daily calorie goal.
Tap "Help me set a goal" to get help setting this goal, or tap "I want to set my own goal" if help is not required. We will demonstrate these options in greater depth in another video.
Tap "Cancel" in the top left corner to go back.
Tap the field marked "Weight" to edit this goal. Scroll to select a number. We will select "5 lbs".
Tap "Account" in the top left corner to go back.
Tap "Cancel" in the top left corner.
Tap "Account" again. Now we're back to the main "Account" tab. It saved our information.
Tap "Dashboard" in the bottom left corner. Now we're back to where we began.
Review the information. Some of the new goals may have changed these numbers.
This is a VisiHow video. We've just shown you where you can edit your goals in the Fitbit application on the iPhone 6. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to add them to the section below and we'll do our best to get back to you.
