    To begin, we need to unlock our phone by pressing the Lock button or the Home button

    Swipe and we can enter our passcode or use our fingerprint scanner

    Find the MapMyRun icon, which is this blue and white one here, with the running stick man in the center

    Tap once to open up our app
    .
    It should take us to this screen where we can begin to record our workout, however, it might take us to the sign-up login screen as well. In which case, you can refer to my video, where I talk us through how to do that.

    Go to our top left-hand corner where we have three horizontal white lines to bring up a new menu

    Scroll all the way down until we find our "Settings" which is on the second from the bottom indicated by a cog on the left-hand side

    Tap on "Settings". It takes us to a page where everything is divided into different sections. I've gone through our workout settings in another video.

    For now we can go to "Equipment", which is the second section here

    We have the option to add different apps and devices
    .
    As we can see it monitors our heart rate and everything else. Different apps will monitor different things. For example, MyFitnessPal will monitor the food nutrition rather than entering into this application as well. We can just configure whichever one we like there.

    We can also change our bike tire size as well, depending on if we cycle and which one we have specialized

    We just tap whichever one and it adds that automatically
    .
    We don't need to press save anywhere. It's automatically done.

    Go to our three horizontal lines

    Then "Record a Workout" to go back to the screen where we started
