Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to edit an event in the Calendar application on the HTC One M8.

Steps

To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone
.
Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

To unlock the phone, press down on the screen and swipe up

Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons.

Here is where we need to focus since we need to open the Applications folder
.
We need the icon located at the bottom of the home screen, in the middle. It looks like a grid of white dots. Press down on this icon. It will open up our Applications folder.

In this folder, we are looking for the Calendar application
.
It is located here, at the top of the screen. We can see an icon of a calendar, with the word "Calendar" underneath it. Press down on this icon. It will allow us to open up our Calendar application.

To edit an event, we must have first created an event
.
We have already done that to save some time. We have an event on the 18th of June. We can see that this day is highlighted in blue. There is a gray vertical bar, which indicates that there is an event happening that has been added on this day. We can also see, at the bottom, it says, "Meeting: 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM." This is the event that has been added to this day already.

Now, we want to edit it or put more information in it
.
To do that, just press down on the description at the bottom of the screen. If there is more than one event added to a day, and there are multiple events, then we will see a list of events at the bottom of the screen. Press down on the event that we want to edit. It will take us to "Event details". We will see all of the details there.

In the bottom left-hand corner, it says the word "EDIT" and there is an icon of a piece of paper and a pencil

Press down on this option. It will take us back into our event options.

We can edit it, or add people
.
We can change the hour if we need to make it longer. We can change the location if we need to. We can also do a number of other things. Once we have finished editing this event, press down on the word "SAVE". It will save our event with the new updates.
