You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you where you can edit your in-application notifications in the Vine application on the iPhone 6.
Steps
1
To begin, we need unlock the phone by pressing the lock button
.
2
Alternatively, we press the home button
.
3
4
We can enter our passcode or just use the fingerprint scanner
.
5
6
We need to tap the icon in bottom-right corner
.
The icon has a head-and-shoulders symbol. We'll be taken to our profile.
7
Then, we can tap "Settings"
.
"Settings" is under our profile photo.
8
We scroll down until we see "Notifications"
.
9
Then, we can simply go through and edit our preferences.
10
11
We can tap "Tailored for you", "From anyone", or "Off"
.
Whichever we tap, the check on the right-hand side will move to the selected option. In this video, we are going to leave the check at the default setting.
12
We tap the back arrow to come back
.
13
We tap "Follows" to edit the option as well in the same way
.
14
We can tap "Tailored for you", "Off", or "From anyone"
.
We can leave it at "Tailored for you" or at whichever we like.
15
We tap the back arrow to come back
.
16
We can tap "VMs" to disable it
.
17
We can tap "VMs" again to enable it
.
18
The same goes for "Favorite people" and "New contacts"
.
To clarify, a check means that the option is enabled.
19
Under "Your Posts", we can tap "Likes"
.
20
We can tap "From anyone", "Tailored for you", or "Off"
.
We can select "Off" if we don't want Vine to tell us when people tap "Like" under our Vine videos.
21
We tap the back arrow to come back
.
22
The same goes for "Comments" and "Revines" as well
.
23
We can scroll down to edit "Your Revines"
.
24
Tapping "Likes", "Comments", and "Revines" is the same
.
If our priority is seeing "Like" or reposts of the Vine videos that we have created, then we might need to enable the notifications only for those. It is just the case of editing our preferences.
25
Finally, at the bottom, we can tap the "Loops" option to edit it
.
If we tap it, it will get updated.
26
We can tap "Loops" again to enable the option
.
27
The same goes for "Likes" and "Follows"
.
It depends if we reach different milestones.
28
We can tap the back arrow to go back
.
29
We can tap the back arrow again to go back
.
We don't need to press "Save" anywhere. Vine settings are saved automatically.
30
We tap the house icon in the bottom left-hand corner
.
We'll get back to the page where we began.
