Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to draw pictures in the Kid Mode application on an HTC One M8.

    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone
    .
    Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up
    .
    Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the Kid Mode application and to do that, we need to open the application folder.

    We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen

    There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.

    Now, we need to tap on the Kid Mode application icon

    It has a blue background with a white outline of an adult and a very small person. This will open the Kid Mode application.

    We can see that we have one child set up here, and their name is Ash, so we'll press down on their profile

    It will quickly give us some information about how to use this service, but we don't need to listen to that right now.

    We need to press down on the 3rd icon at the top

    It's a paint brush and paint tray with some colors on it. This will open the art section.

    As we can see from the purple arrow, we need to tap on the first picture to create some new art
    .
    We can see on the right-hand side, there's a painting we've already created. We need to tap on the empty piece of paper with the paintbrush and some colors in it. This will open a clean, new page for us to create art. We will see the icons on the left, and they all have different functions.

    Tap the first one at the top to select the color of paper to use

    We can see that it is a white sheet of paper with some different colored sheets of paper behind it.

    The second option gives us the option to add stickers

    The icon shows a vehicle and a dinosaur. We have a wide range of stickers. These are connected to the story books in the Kid Mode application.

    Press down on the wanted sticker

    We will choose this turtle.

    Now, in order to move the sticker onto the screen, we press down on the sticker, hold down, and move the finger around until we find the location that we want to place the sticker

    Once we're happy with the position, we press the green box with the white checkmark inside of it

    The sticker has now been stuck onto the page

    The other option we have is to choose colors, and we can see we have a quick menu of colors
    .
    There are 9 colors there, and if we want to use any of them, we just press down on that color until it is framed by the black box. That means the color is selected.

    If we press down on the paint tray icon, we can choose from more colors

    If we press down on the circle with a rainbow inside of it, it will allow us to create more unique colors and allow us to create shades of colors

    On the left, we can edit the darkness of the color

    At the bottom of the scale, it's very bright, and at the top, it's very dark. If we press down anywhere on it, we can see the shade change in the circle.
