Hello! Welcome to VisiHow! In this video, we are going to show you how to download and install the TripAdvisor application on the Microsoft Lumia 535.

   To begin, we turn the phone on by pressing the Power button located on the right-hand side of the phone

   Once the phone has been activated, we will see the Lock screen.

   We swipe up the Lock screen up

   This will take us to the Home screen.

   On the Home screen, we need to locate the Store tile

   .

   We can swipe up or down to find it. In this example, the tile is located on the Home screen. The icon may have an image. In this example, it is a green small furry critter. The icon flips over to reveal the Store icon. The icon is a shopping bag with a window in it. If we have not pinned the Store tile to the Home screen, then we can swipe left to find it in the Apps menu.

   Once the Store tile is located, we tap it to enter the application

   Once the Store is loaded, we need to search for the TripAdvisor application.

   We tap the icon at the bottom of the screen

   The icon is a white magnifying glass inside of a white circle. The virtual keyboard will be shown.

   We start to type "trip advisor"

   .

   It will be shown in the text bar on top. We might not need to type the full name, as the Store suggestions show up. If TripAdvisor does not show in the Store suggestions, then type the whole name.

   We tap the Enter button on the virtual keyboard

   The button is a black arrow in a white square. The Store will look for the TripAdvisor application. TripAdvisor will be at the top with its icon. The icon is an owl or a bird with different-colored eyes.

   We tap the word "TripAdvisor" to enter the "overview" section

   .

   The Store application will offer us to install TripAdvisor. In this example, it has already been installed on the Microsoft Lumia 535 to save time so that we do not have to watch the installation process (it says "App installed" on top). There will be a rectangular box on the left at the bottom that should say "install". It says "view" in this example, as the application has already been installed.

   We tap the "install" icon

   We wait until when the installation process is completed. Once it is completed, we will see the "view" icon. The word "install" will change to "view"; the rectangular box with the white outline will still be on the left at the bottom. It will say "view".

    This is going to take us to the Apps menu. In the Apps menu we'll have the name "TripAdvisor" and its tile. Underneath the word "TripAdvisor", we will see the word "New" in small green letters.

    We tap the TripAdvisor application

    The application is going to load. We will have the ability to start searching for hotels, attractions, restaurants, and other search locations. TripAdvisor is a very useful application for finding places to stay or eat and for finding things to do in strange places, especially on holiday.

    It's important to know that we need to allow the TripAdvisor application to use our location

    We'll be given the choice once we enter this application for the first time. We do not have this choice in this video because we've already set it up to save time and skip the whole process. The phone will ask you if you allow this application to use our location. We must let the application use our location so that it is a lot easier for us to find important or interesting things in our location.
