Hi! You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to download a language pack on Windows 8 computers.
The first thing that we need to do is open the charms menu by moving the mouse cursor to the upper-right corner of the screen.
Then, we click "Settings".
From "Settings", we need to click "Change PC settings".
Wait for a new window to load and then click "Time and language".
Then, we click "Region and language". Now, all of the languages that are installed on our computer will be displayed here. In this case, we have three: English, Russian, and Georgian.
To download an additional language pack, we need to simply click the language. For example, Georgian.
Then, we click "Options". We will have the "Download language pack" and "Add a keyboard" options.
For example, if we click "Options" for Russian. we also have "Enforce strict +e". If we have any other options besides the language pack or keyboards, we might want to take heed of that.
So let's go ahead and download the Georgian one. To do this, we need to click the language and "Options".
Then, we click "Download". We wait for it to download. For the sake of the tutorial, the download part of the video is skipped. Downloading may take several seconds or minutes depending on the size of the language pack, our Internet connection, and the performance of the computer. Once the pack is downloaded, we can go back to using Windows as we would normally do.
This concludes our tutorial on how to download a language pack on Windows 8 computers. Thank you for watching VisiHow! If you have any other comments or questions, please leave them in the comments section below.
