You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to dock the keyboard on an iPad Air 2.
In order to return your split (undocked) keyboard to the docked position, you need to open any application where the keyboard is used. In this case, Messages is tapped.
Now, tap on the section where you write messages. This will bring up the keyboard.
Let's assume that your keyboard was initially undocked. For this, the keyboard icon in the lower-right corner is tapped and "Undock" is selected. There is a tutorial on how to undock the keyboard.
To dock the keyboard, press and hold the keyboard icon.
Drag the finger to "Dock" and let it go.
Again, if the keyboard were undocked, simply swipe the keyboard icon down to dock the keyboard. The same applies if the keyboard were split.
Simply swipe down to return the keyboard to the docked position.
Again, if the keyboard were split, you can tap and hold the keyboard icon.
Drag your finger to "Dock and Merge" and release it. The keyboard will be returned to the bottom position as fully docked.
