Display the Battery Charge Percentage on a Samsung Note 10.1

You're watching VisiHow. In this video tutorial, we are going to show how to show the battery charge percentage on the Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1. By default, the percentage of the battery charge is not shown in the top-right corner. We might want to know how much of the charge has been used in order to charge the battery to 100 % when needed. There are also the the WiFi icon with the signal strength and time indicator.

Steps

    Swipe down from the top of the home screen

    You will access the notification panel.

    Tap on the gear-shaped settings icon in the top-right corner

    Then, tap on "Device"

    You will find "Sound and display' and "Personalization" on the left-hand panel.

    Tap on "Display" in the "Sound and display" section

    In "Display", you will find "Screen timeout", "Touch key light duration", "Screen mode", "Reading mode", "Daydream", "Show battery percentage", and "Edit after screen capture". The second to last option is "Show battery percentage".

    Turn on "Show battery percentage" by checking it
    .
    This will place a checkmark into the box to the right. "Show battery percentage" will show battery percentage on the status bar. In this tutorial, next to the battery in the top right-hand corner of the screen, there will be the percentage of the battery charge. The battery is now at 60 %, and it needs 40 % to be charged at 100 %.
