Display Your Kid's Artwork Without Damaging It
Edited by Grimm, Vanessa, Eng
Hi, you're watching VisiHow and today I'm going to show you how you can hang photos from your child - or other artists in the house, depending on who you've got - how you can hang those photos on the wall without damaging them. First thing we're going to do is look at a selection of fantastic art. This is the clown by young Mr. Henry.
Steps
1
Next up, we have a giraffe - rather fantastic I might say
.
2
And we have some other great photos in here, but the last one we're looking at is this fantastic American rocket, which, by the way, didn't really go to the moon
.
It just stayed in a warehouse at Area 51. No, I'm just kidding.
3
So, what we're going to need is many of these little plastic paper holders
.
I don't know what you call them, but that's what I call them. Plastic sleeves for holding papers.
4
Secondly, what we're going to need is some tape from my lovely little office caddy here
.
You can see I've got some tape right here on the edge.
5
And all we do is we take the sleeve and we open it up a little bit
.
6
We take the child's drawing - in this case it's this little space rocket
.
And what we're going to do is we're going to slide that rocket into the sleeve.
7
Flex the drawing just a little bit so that it easily slides into the sleeve
.
Carefully slide it in and give it a little shake.
8
And it's nice and contained in the sleeve
.
9
Now, what we need to do is take our tape roll
.
We're going to peel off approximately 2, 2 1/2 inches of tape.
10
We're going to take that and fold it over on itself, sticky side out
.
The reason we're doing this is so that now we have a sticky little piece to go on the back of the drawing.
11
Again, we're going to make sure that the open part of our drawing is either up or to the side if you're hanging different kinds of paper
.
12
We're going to turn it to the back, and we're just going to put that piece of tape right there on the back
.
13
And we're going to need another piece of tape here so let's make another piece real fast
.
14
Same situation - about 2, 2 1/2 inches of tape
.
Fold it over and we've got a nice little sticky piece.
15
Pick up your child's drawing
.
Put the piece of tape on the back
16
And then find a suitable place on the wall behind here
.
And then put your little guy's drawing right there. Stick it on the wall.
17
And now, you have a lovely little space drawing featuring Mr
.
Henry, Papa, and the twins, Debbie and Sam.
18
This concludes our tutorial on how to hand your child's artwork on the wall without damaging it and so that you can later move it or put it elsewhere and later, we're going to hang Mr
.
Clown, who as a matter of fact is our assistant. He's probably going to be helping us with some cell phone videos.

Do stay tuned and thanks for watching VisiHow
.
We hope this has been a helpful tutorial for you and your children. Have a great day and we'll see you soon.
