Edited by VisiHow, Alexander Avdeev, Eng
You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to disable S Voice on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. Before we begin, it's important to note the difference between turning off an application and disabling it. If you turn off an application, you can turn it back on later. If you disable an application, all the associated settings with that application will be deleted. When you reenable the application later, you will set all of the options again to whatever they were previously.
Swipe down to open the notifications panel.
Then, tap once on the white gear-shaped icon in the upper-right side. This will open the "Settings" panel.
Scroll down to "Applications" under the "Device" menu.
Tap once on "Applications".
Then you're going to tap on the "Application manager". Application manager will show us all our applications.
Swipe left to the "ALL" section.
Now, scroll down until you reach "S".
Once we're on "S", locate and tap "S Voice". Tapping once on "S Voice" will indicate that you'll see notifications from S Voice. You can tap on "FORCE STOP", or you can "DISABLE".
Simply tap on "DISABLE". You will get a pop-up menu that says: "Disabling built-in apps may cause errors in other applications". This is true that disabling S Voice may cause some errors; however, many people have disabled it without a problem.
You may tap on "OK" to disable S Voice. The application will be disabled.
If you wish to reenable S Voice, you can simply tap "ENABLE". This will enable the application.
When you've finished, just press the home button. This will take you back to the home screen.
This concludes our tutorial on disabling S Voice on the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. If you have additional questions or comments, leave them in the section below this video. Thanks for watching! Have a great day!
