If you are interested in disabling WiFi on your Tab, it's a very simple process

To begin, swipe down from the top of your tab.

On the left side of the notifications panel, you will see a "WiFi" icon with a series of waves

If the waves are green, WiFi is turned on. Tap once on this icon to turn WiFi off.

If you do not have this icon, or if you want to confirm that your WiFi is disabled, you can come to the notifications panel and tap on the gear-shaped settings icon

A single tap on the gear-shaped icon will take you to the settings panel

On the left side of the screen, you will see a range of selections. You want to select the very first one, labeled "WiFi".

Across the top of the right hand side of the window, you can see that "WiFi" is listed as "On"

Move over to the right side of the screen to see a green switch.

To turn off or disable WiFi, give the green switch a single tap

After, you will see that "WiFi" is listed as "Off".

When you are finished, press the "Home" button
