Disable Help Tips in Windows 8

Steps

Press and hold the Windows key and then press the "R" key

This opens the Run window.

Click "OK" or hit the enter key

It will open a window called "Local Group Policy Editor".

Click "Computer Configuration"

Double-click "Administrative Templates"
.

Double-click "Windows Components"
.

On the right side of the screen, there is a "Disable help tips" option.

Double-click "Disable help tips"

Navigate to the top left corner of the "Disable help tips" window that opens

Currently, ours is set to "Not Configured", which is indicated by the black dot next to that option.

Click the radio button next to "Enabled" to disable the help tips
.
This is because we are enabling the "disable help tips" function. Clicking "Disabled" would prevent the disabling of help tips.

To apply the changes, we might need to restart the computer.

Close the window by clicking the "X" button in the top right corner
