Delete the Voice Model used for Voice Commands on HTC One M8

Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how we can delete the voice model, used to give voice commands, on an HTC One M8.

Steps

    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone. Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone, press down on the screen. Hold down, and swipe up. Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons.

    Now, we need to find the "Settings" menu. To do that, we swipe the notification panel down. To do that, press down at the top of the screen, hold down, and swipe down.

    Now that the notification panel has appeared, here is the icon we're looking for. In the top right-hand corner of the screen, there is a white cog icon. This is our settings icon. Press down on it, and it will open up our "Settings menu".

    We can see it says the word "Settings" in the top left-hand corner of the screen.

    Now we'll scroll down until we get to the "PHONE" section. It should say the word "PHONE" in a gray bar.

    Scroll down until we find the "Language & keyboard" section. Next to the words, there is the "Language & keyboard" icon. It looks like a capital 'A' in a 3D box. Press down on this section, and it will open up the "Language & keyboard" menu.

    We want the option that says, "Google voice typing". Press down on that, and another menu will open.

    We want the second option called, "'OK Google' detection". Press down on that, and it will open a new set of options. In this video, we are learning how to delete the voice model that is used to give voice commands. In order to do this, we would need to already have created a voice model. If we haven't don't that, we won't be able to delete it. If you need to know how to do that, you can find a video tutorial on how to do that on this website.     If we want to delete the voice model, find the option that says "Delete voice model". Press down on it.

    We need to select "OK" here. It will ask us, "Delete voice model? Your voice model will be permanently deleted. If you want 'OK Google' to respond to your voice from any screen, you will need to retrain the model." Bear that in mind. We do want to delete it, so press down on "OK" in blue letters.

    We can see the option, "From any screen", is turned off. If we want to use the function again, we will need to add a new voice model.
