Edited by Hotelier, Sluderml, Eng
Hello and thank you for watching VisiHow. Today I will show how to delete a single SMS in a thread of messages on the LG L70.
Steps
1
To begin, we'll unlock our phone by pressing the top right-hand side Power button
.
2
Then we swipe up one time to get to our home screen
.
We'll have a Messaging icon on our home screen. It's a yellow box with a smiley face chat bubble inside of it.
3
If this icon is not on our home screen, we can access it through the Apps menu which is a gray box with a set of white squares inside of it
.
4
For now, we will open up the Messaging app by tapping this icon directly on the home screen one time
.
Now, we're viewing all of our messages.
5
If we would like to delete one message in a set of messages, then we need to open up that set of messages first
.
We're going to open a thread by tapping one time of one of these threads. This will open up a whole thread of messages here.
6
If we want to delete one of these, we need to press and hold the message
.
It will vibrate and give us pop-up box.
7
The top option is "Delete"
.
We do want to delete this message only, so we're going to choose "Delete" from this window.
8
It says, "Message will be deleted
:
Continue?" We will say "Yes".
9
We can see that that particular message was deleted by the rest of the thread still appears in our messages
.
We have not removed the entire messaging thread.
10
In order to close the Messaging app and go back to the home screen, we can press the bottom center Home button one time to close the application
.
11
This does conclude today's presentation on how to delete a single SMS in a thread of messages on the LG L70
.
If you have any questions, comments, or suggestions please leave them in the space below.
