   To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the power button on the top, right-hand side

   Then swipe up once to get to the home screen

   Facebook is installed on the home screen in this example

   It is a blue square icon with a white letter "f" inside of it. If this app is not on the home screen it can be accessed through the Apps menu. The Apps menu icon is on the lower, right-hand corner of the home screen. It is a grey box with a set of white squares inside of it.

   Tap on the Facebook icon to open it directly from the home screen

   Then we will need to get to our profile and timeline.

   Next, tap on the three grey lines, which are in the far right corner of the screen

   Tap once on "View your profile." It is across the top of the new page with the profile photo, the name, and "View your profile" below the name

   Scroll down past the photos and friends until we reach the timeline

   Press on the grey, downward pointing arrow to get a pop-up box where we can "Edit Post," change who can see the post, "Hide from Timeline," completely remove the post, or "Turn off notifications" for the post

   .

   The grey, downward pointing arrow is in the upper, right-hand corner of each posting.

   Press "Delete" to completely remove the post

   It is the second option from the bottom.

    We will press "DELETE" in grey, which is the lower, right-hand corner of the pop-up box when it asks us to confirm, "Are you sure you want to delete this post?"
