Delete a Message from Chat on Kik on iPhone 6
Edited by Freya, Robert, Eng
Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to delete a message from chat using the Kik application on the iPhone 6.
To begin, press the lock button on the right-hand side of the phone.
Alternatively, we can unlock our phone by pressing the home button at the bottom of the screen.
Swipe to the right to enter your passcode. As an alternative to entering your passcode, put your finger on the home button to use the fingerprint scanner.
Find the Kik icon, which is white with a black speech bubble, and tap on it once to open the application. As we can see, it takes us to the page where it's listing our different conversations.
Open up a conversation by tapping on it.
Now we should tap on one of our speech bubbles. This will bring up the options "Copy" or "Delete".
Tap on "Delete" to delete that particular message. It will double check with us if we want to delete it or not, in which case we can tap on "Cancel" if we want to keep it there.
Tap on "Delete" to delete the message. This does not remove the message from their side, only on our side, meaning they can still view the message we've deleted from our phone.
When we're finished, tap on "Back" in the top-left corner to go back to the screen where we started.
Now you know how to delete messages from the chat using the Kik application on the iPhone 6. If you have any question, comments, or queries, feel free to add them to the section below and we'll do our best to get back to you when we can. Thank you for using VisiHow, goodbye.
