You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to delete home-screen panels from the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
In order to delete a home screen panel, we will need to have our phone unlocked. We should be on the home screen.
Once we have unlocked our phone, we locate an empty space.
When we find an empty space, we simply tap and hold it.
Tapping and holding the empty space will open a menu. It will allow us to move home-screen items around.
We swipe left and right to find the screen that we would like to delete. In this case, we will delete an empty screen.
In order to delete a screen, or panel, we simply tap and hold an empty space.
We drag the screen up to the "Remove", or trash can, icon.
We will note that the screen turns red and the trash-can icon will begin to shake.
We remove our finger. The panel will be deleted. If we delete a panel that has applications or items on it, the items and applications will remain on our phone. The panel itself is all that will disappear. Applications, widgets, icons, and other items will not be deleted.
Now, we tap once on a home screen. We will be taken back to the screen we've tapped. In this video, we will only have two screens below instead of the four that we've previously had.
This concludes our tutorial on how to delete a home screen, or a home-screen panel, from the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge. If you have additional questions or comments, please leave them in the section below. Thank you for choosing VisiHow! Have a great day!
