To begin, we can open our Home screen by pressing the top button on the right-hand side of the phone

If the "WhatsApp" icon cannot be found on the Home screen, we can access it from the "Apps" menu
.
To open that menu, tap on the "Apps" icon at the bottom right-hand corner of the Home screen. The icon is a gray square with some small white boxes inside of it.

If we tap on the "Apps" icon one time, it will open a list of all the applications currently installed on the phone

In the "Settings" menu, we can access "Help", as well as view and edit our "Profile"

To delete our account, we'll tap on the second option from the bottom that says, "Delete my account"

It will then give us a warning stating that deleting the account will "Delete your account from WhatsApp", "Erase your message history", and "Delete you from all of your WhatsApp groups"

It asks if we "Want to change number instead", in case we might have a new phone number. If this is true, we can choose this option to change our phone number instead of deleting the entire account.

However, to completely delete our account and get rid of "WhatsApp", we need to confirm our telephone number

We'll do this by entering our country code and phone number.

Once we've finished entering our phone number, we'll tap on the red button at the bottom that says "DELETE MY ACCOUNT"
