Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to delete a chat from the Viber application while using the Microsoft Lumia 535.

   Press the power button on the right side of the phone to turn the screen on and display the lock screen

   Swipe the lock screen up to unlock the phone and display the Home screen

   Find and tap the Viber tile to open the Viber application

   .

   The tile has a purple background with the Viber logo in white, which is a speech bubble with a telephone in it. If Viber is not pinned to the Home screen, swipe from right to left to view the App menu. Find Viber in the App menu and tap it. Since we want to delete a chat, we need to be in the "chats" section of the application.

   If the "chats" screen is not displayed when the app has opened, swipe from right to left or left to right until the "chats" screen is displayed

   The "chats" screen is a list of all the chats we have with our contacts. From here, we need to choose a chat we would like to delete.

   Tap and hold on the icon of the chat we would like to delete to display the options for that chat

   The options menu for the chat will appear below the chat icon in the list as a white bar. There will be two options in the menu; "pin to start" and "delete".

   Tap "delete" to delete the chat

   This will delete the entire chat and all the message history in the chat from the Viber application.

   When prompted, tap "delete" to confirm

   Viber will ask us to confirm we want to delete the conversation. Alternatively, we can tap cancel if we do not want to delete the chat.

   The chat will have now been deleted from the list of chats

   In this example, our list of chats displays "No messages yet" since we do not have any chats remaining in our list.
