   Let's go straight to the Social folder.

   The Telegram icon looks like a white paper airplane, so we are going to tap to open it

   Once in Telegram, go to chats

   As you can see, I have five regular chats and one secret chat.

   In case I would like to delete some of them or possibly all of them, there are two ways to do this

   .

   I can swipe across each one of the chats and tap on the delete option that appears on the right.

   Then an option to Clear History appear at the bottom of the screen along with a choice to Delete or Cancel

   If we tap on Clear History, all of the messages in that particular chat will be deleted

   .

   There will be no messages, but that particular chat option with that contact will still be available.

   If I want to delete the chat, I can tap on Delete instead of just Clear History

   .

   In this case, the whole chat is gone. Of course, I can still access that person and send messages, but I would have to open Contacts first and find that person on the list to send a message.

   The second way to delete your chats, if you want to do more than one at a time, is to first tap Edit at the top left of the Chats window

    Now, you will see a little red circle with a minus sign appears to the left of each profile picture

    When I tap on one of the red circles, the option to Delete the chat will appear on the right like before

    Again, it will ask if you want to just Clear History or Delete and Exit

    Let's tap on Delete and Exit

    Now the chat is gone. You can do the same thing with as may of the chats that you want.

    To save the changes and keep any of the remaining chats, just tap on Done at the top left corner of the screen

    This takes you out of the deleting mode.

Hi. I want to be sure when I clear the history of chat in Telegram it can not return or be accessed in any way?

Does this way for sure delete history of Telegram in iPhone forever? Even if the person has access to our apple ID?
