You're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to delete contact shortcuts from the home screen of the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.
In order to delete contacts from the home screen of our phone, we need to have our S6 Edge unlocked.
Then, we press the home button one time. We'll make sure that we are on the home screen. In this video, we have a contact on the home screen.
When we find a contact that we want to delete, we tap and hold it. We do not lift the finger.
We drag the contact up to the white trash can in the black bar at the top.
When the trash can turns slightly red and the lid moves around, we lift the finger off the contact. The contact will be deleted from the home screen of the phone. The contact will be still available in the "Contacts" list. The "Contact" icon is orange. It is at the bottom of the screen.
We tap on "Contacts" once. We will see that the contact that we have just deleted is still located in our phone.
Then, we can press the home button. We will go back to the home screen.
