Hi. You're watching VisiHow. Today I'm going to show you how you can find your recent searches and delete them on the Booking.com app on the iPhone 6.

To start with, let's unlock our phones, which we can do by pressing the Lock button on the right-hand side

Alternatively, the big, round button at the bottom of our screen called the Home button unlocks the phone

This brings up our Lock screen where we can simply swipe and enter the passcode or hold a finger on to the Home button which doubles as a fingerprint scanner as well

This opens up our Home screen

All of our Home screens will look different from this one because it is personalized.

We just need to find the Booking.com app
.
The icon itself is dark blue, with a big, white capital "B," and a small light blue circle next to that.

Tap once to open it up
.
It initially takes us to the Search screen. If you like, you can refer to my other video where I talk you through exactly how to use this screen to search for a place. But today we are going to look at this first bar which says, "Berlin, Germany" with a magnifying glass on the right-hand side.

This is where we type in the name
.
We can click on that to open up our search. At the moment, it's in "Recent," which is the default option. This example uses Berlin and London. We can use "Around Me" to use our current locations.

We can use "Popular" to simply browse, as we can see here

Let's go to "Recent" because are the places we've looked for within this time of using the app

We can either type a new destination in the top bar or we can go to Berlin or London. Maybe we are planning a romantic trip and we don't want someone to know we're looking for London.

On the bar where London is located, without clicking (because that would take us to the London search results) we are going to drag the bar to the left and it brings up "Delete" in a box on the right-hand side

Tap away from that if we don't want to "Delete"

We'll go through it again

Drag to the left.

"Delete" is on the right
.
Tap once and it deletes. It doesn't give us any other warning. It just vanishes.

To bring it up again, we can, of course, just search for London
.
Next time it will be in the list along with Paris, Amsterdam, whichever where else we want to search for.

Tap "Cancel" in the top right-hand corner to go out of that
