Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to delete a photo from the Photos application on an HTC One M8.

- 4The one in this demonstration is located near the bottom right. The Photos icon is a multi-colored pinwheel. Underneath, it says the word "Photos". The Photos application may be located anywhere in this folder. Find the icon and press down on it to enter the application. What we want to do in this video is to demonstrate how to delete a photo.Find the Photos application.

- 7This does not directly delete the photo. It moves it to a rubbish bin. There, it is stored and then periodically, every 60 days, that bin is emptied. At that point, all the contents of that bin are permanently deleted. We can delete things before that by going to the bin to delete things manually. We can also go to the bin and retrieve things. We can bring them back, or take them out of the bin and keep them. However, for all intents and purposes, this photo has now been deleted. It's been sent to the bin. It is important to know that if we want to, we can reclaim it, or we can permanently delete it.A dark gray bar appears with a message that says "Item moved to the bin".
