   To delete images, you can tap an image, which will bring up a small menu at the top of the screen

   Return to the gallery and select another folder with photos you want to delete

   Tap the icon with three vertical dots at the top-right of the screen and select "Delete".

You can either hide or delete them.

To hide the photographs, tap on Gallery. Press the menu button. Select the "Content to display" option. Uncheck "Facebook".

To delete the pictures, uninstall the Facebook application from your phone by tapping on "Settings", "Application Manager", "Facebook", and "Uninstall". Press the home button. Then, tap on "Settings", "Application Manager", "All", "Gallery", and "Clear Data".

Tap the three dots in the upper right corner. If you just want to delete one image, select the image directly from the Gallery and options will appear. One of them is a trashcan. This is the delete function.

Turn Sync off for Google + or another app like Picassa. Then go into Applications Manager and clear the cache of the Gallery app. These items should now be able to be deleted. The lock is usually from Google or Picassa on a Samsung device.

You did not mention what OS version you have on your phone, however, some have the option of long pressing on the image in the Wallpaper section to delete it. If you do not have this then check My Files if you have a Samsung to delete from there. It will be saved to the SD card. If you still can't remove and hate the thought of him on your device, backup other photos, contacts, and then hard reset the device.
