Hi, welcome to VisiHow. Today I'm going to teach you how to find your maps history and delete it on Google Maps on the iPhone 6.

   Unlock your phone by pressing the round button at the bottom of the screen

   Once your lock screen is up, swipe right to enter the passcode

   Hold your finger to the button at the bottom of the screen to use it as a fingerprint scanner as an alternative to entering your passcode

   On the home screen, find the Google Maps application

   The icon is colorful with a green triangle, a yellow line, a blue triangle, a red pinpoint and also a Google "G" icon in the top left. Tap it once to open the application.

   This will take you to the map screen displaying the place you last searched for (indicated by the red pin point on the map), or to your current location (indicated by the circle compass icon at the bottom right of the screen being highlighted blue)

   If we tap the search bar at the top and press the cross to delete the text, we will see some of our recent history

   We can press "More From Recent History" if we want to search one of the places in the recent searches window. Press the arrow in the top left of the screen to leave the recent searches window, and again to go back to the map screen.

   To delete the history, tap the icon with three horizontal gray lines at the top left of the screen to open the menu

   Tap the settings button once

   This will bring us to open a new window. We have a few options in the Settings.

    Tap the second option, "Maps history"

    This will show the history, but with crosses on the right-hand side.

    Tap the small cross on the right-hand of the a search to delete it

    This will bring up a confirmation selection, tap "DELETE" to permanently delete the history or tap "CANCEL". We can do that with whichever ones we'd like.

    To go back, press the arrow in the top left corner at both the "Maps history" and "Settings" Windows

    This will bring us back to the map screen. Every time we search for anything in the map screen, it will be added to the search history.

When I pull up my Favorites, I don't see Recents anywhere?

See above. When going through the steps to clear my addresses in Apple Maps, when I tap of Favorites there is no recents tab. The article leads me to a blind end of my 6S. Really have nothing else to add.
