Delete Individual Saved Passwords in Google Chrome on HTC One M8

Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this tutorial, we are going to show you how to delete individual saved passwords using the Google Chrome application on the HTC One M8.


Steps

    To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone. Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen.

    To unlock the phone, swipe the screen upwards. Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen and multiple icons at the bottom. It is one of these icons that we now need to access to open up the applications folder.

    Tap the icon that looks like a grid of white dots, that is located at the bottom of the screen in the middle.

    Find the Google Chrome application, and tap on it once to open the application. The Google Chrome icon looks like a big circle made up of different colors and has the word "Chrome" underneath it. Your Google Chrome application may be in a different position in this folder, therefore you will need to find it.

    First, we need to tap the icon in the top-right corner that looks like three small black dots in a vertical line. This will open up a new menu.

    In this menu, we are going to tap on "Settings".

    Now, tap on "Saved passwords". This will open up our saved passwords menu.

    Tap on the button to the right of "Save passwords" to enable or disable the option. In this example, the function is turned on as indicated by the button being highlighted blue and the words "On". It is currently saving our passwords, and as we can see below it has saved one password. We have a list of passwords that have been saved. It is more than likely that you will have more than one passwords in this section because we have so many accounts and profiles. We can delete one if we need to, we don't have to delete them all and we can delete them individually. If we want to give more protection to an account we can remove it from here so we have to sign in to it every single time. We can remove some passwords from this feature if we want to, or we can delete them all.

    To delete a password, tap on the option we want to delete. In this example, we only have one to choose from.

    Tap "DELETE" in the bottom-left corner. Here we have the name of the account, and also the website. As we can see, the password we have selected has been removed and the section is now empty.
