Steps

In order to remove a folder from your iPad, you will need to navigate to the page where the folder is

This is done by swiping to the right or to the left, if necessary, until you find a page with the folder. In this case, the "Games" folder is going to be used.

Now, to delete the folder, you need to unlock it first
.
This is done by tapping and holding it. All of the icons will start to shake, including the folder.

Once icons are shaking, you can tap on the folder

In order to delete the folder, you need to tap and and drag each item in the folder outside of it
.
When you drag the icon out of the folder, you'll be on the page where you can drop the dragged icon.

For the sake of ease, it is recommended to drop it on the home page by letting it go

Then, tap on the same folder again

Drag the next icon out and drop it outside of the folder
.
Now, you'll note that the folder has not been deleted.

It turns out that there was another page in this folder.

Now, remove this game from the folder by dragging and dropping it out of the folder
.
The folder will automatically disappear when there is nothing else in it.

Press the home button to lock the icons

They will stop shaking.

Then press the home button again

You will get back to your home screen.
