   To start, we need to unlock the phone, which we can do using the fingerprint scanner on the Home button

   Let's go to the "Groups"

   This is the second icon from the left on the menu bar at the bottom of the screen. Tap it once to open "Groups".

   We currently have two groups, but unfortunately Facebook hasn't created an option to delete groups from the "Groups" screen

   In order to delete a group, we have to go to our "Recent" chats.

   We have one group conversation, which is the most recent one we've used

   Place a finger on it, then swipe from right to left across the screen

    To delete the group, we need to tap on the red "Delete" button on the far right side

    As soon as we tap on the "Delete" square, a confirmation message will appear, which is asking if we are sure we want to delete this conversation

    .

    The message let's us know that, "This will permanently delete the conversation history." We have a choice to "Delete Conversation" or "Archive Conversation". If we archive it, we will not see the chat, but it will be saved. Then we can come back to it later if desired.

    Let's just delete the conversation, so tap on "Delete Conversation"

I've been trying to find an answer that works for me. How can I delete a whole group from Messenger?

I still do not see How can I delete a Messenger group. It does not let me delete all members, which still wouldn't make the whole group go away anyway. I see how can I delete the group conversation string but that doesn't take care of deleting the group itself with all the different solutions I have tried. Maybe one can't actually delete a whole messenger group but if that is so, it would be nice to see that in writing.
