Delete Contacts on the iPhone 4s
Edited by Kara, Crystal, Eng
Hello, you're watching VisiHow. Today I'm going to show you how to delete contacts from your contact list.
Steps
1
We need to open the little green phone icon, and that will take us to the contact list
.
2
Let's pick the contacts that I don't want to see on my phone or no longer need
.
3
I'm going to delete Amalyas phone number
.
I can either block this contact or I can completely delete it.
4
In order to delete the contact, I have to press the Edit button, which is on the right top of the screen
.
5
Here I can delete the phone number itself by pressing the red circle with the minus symbol, but it will keep the contact, or, I can scroll all the way down, and at the very bottom of the contact information I have an option to Delete Contact
.
6
7
Now it's asking me if I really want to delete it, tap Delete Contact
.
8
It took me back to the contacts, and I no longer have that phone number in my Contact List
.
9
For example, I have this phone number of the salon that I am probably never going to go to again. Tap it to open the information section.
10
11
If I delete only the number, I will still have an empty contact that will be saved on the phone
.
12
So I have to scroll down all the way and press Delete Contact
.
Now it's gone and I no longer have it on my phone.
13
Thanks for watching VisiHow
.
