Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to delete an event from the Calendar application on an HTC One M8.

Steps

To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the Power button, located on top of the phone
.
Once the phone has been activated, we'll see the lock screen.

To unlock the phone, press down on the screen and swipe up

Once the phone has been unlocked, we'll see the home screen. At the bottom, there will be icons.

Here is where we will find the icon we need, the Applications folder

We need the icon located at the bottom of the home screen, in the middle. It looks like a grid of white dots. Press down on this icon. It will open up our Applications folder.

In this folder, we are looking for the Calendar application
.
It is located here, at the top of the screen. We can see an icon of a calendar, with the word "Calendar" underneath it. Press down on this icon. It will allow us to open up our Calendar application.

Now, we want to learn how to delete an event
.
First, we need to have an event set up. If we need to do that, then press this '+' icon at the top of the screen. It's a white plus sign. Pressing on that will allow us to create an event.

First, we need to select our event
.
We already have an event created on the 23rd of June. We can see the gray vertical bar, indicating that there is an event on this day. Press down on this section. It will highlight that day.

We can see our event details at the bottom
.
It says, "No Subject: 9:00 AM - 10:00 AM." Press down on the details section to bring up our event. We can see our event details here.

We want to delete this event
.
To delete the event, press the icon in the top right-hand corner of the screen. It looks like three small white squares in a vertical line. Press down on this icon to open a small menu.

We need the option that says, "Delete event"

Press down on it.

It will ask us, "Delete
:
This event will be deleted." We can press "CANCEL" or "OK". We want to delete this, so let's press "OK".

Now, we can see that the event has been successfully deleted

We are still on the same day, the 23rd, but at the bottom there are no event details.
