Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, I'm going to show you how to delete your browsing history in Microsoft Internet Explorer 11.

   The first way to do this is to open the browser and go to Tools

   Click Internet Options at the bottom of the list

   This will bring up the Internet Options page

   Here we can see Browsing History and we can click on Delete.

   This opens up another page and we have a selection of things we can delete

   .

   Passwords, Form data, Download History, Cookies and website data, Temporary Internet files and web site files. It is a good idea to delete your history regularly. This could help to delete tracking cookies which record the websites you visit. For example, if you search for a tent that you would like to buy, then subsequently every website you visit after that suspiciously has ads about tents. Deleting your cookies and other information will help to clear your browser and give it a fresh start.

   Another option is to use the Hotkey, Ctrl, Shift and Delete

   .

   It will bring up the exact same page. This can save a lot of time instead of going to Tools and Internet Options.

   Click delete, to delete your browsing history

   If you want to save your passwords, make sure Passwords is not selected. This will prevent your passwords from being erased and you can still access your websites and accounts easily.
