Delete Apps on iPhone or iPad in iOS 13
Edited by Jay
Delete apps on an iPhone or iPad in iOS 13 the same way as previous iOS versions. Long-press the app's shortcut until your device goes into wiggle or jiggle mode, then tap the X to remove the application.
In iOS 12 and previous versions, long-pressing on an app icon would immediately put your device into jiggle mode. Once your screen is jiggling about, you can delete any application with the X in the upper right corner. In iOS 13, however, long-pressing on a shortcut brings up the app's control center. To get to jiggle mode, you must continue pressing the shortcut (2-3 seconds longer), once the control center box appears.
iOS 13 also gives the options to delete apps directly from the App Store, via your recently updated apps.
For the following tutorial, we used an iPhone 7, running iOS 13.
