Hi, you are watching VisiHow. My name is Kara. In this video, I will show you how to shape your eyebrows with an eyebrow pencil. In my other videos you may have watched me shaping my eyebrows with Anastasia dipbrow pomade, but when you don't have the time to frame the eyebrows, apply the color, and blend it in, the eyebrow pencil is a good alternative because it is easy to apply and to blend in.

   Apply the eyebrow pencil starting at the bottom of the eyebrow

   I am using Maybelline; I believe it is a medium brown, eyebrow pencil, which is a matching color for me. I prefer not to use black shades. I will start by adding color to the bottom arch line and extend this line to create eyebrows.

   Apply the eyebrow pencil to the top of the eyebrow

   .

   Add some color to the top of the eyebrow. Normally, I do a wider eyebrow but because I am using a pencil I making them a tiny bit thinner to start and, I will get the necessary width after I blend them.

   Apply the eyebrow pencil in the same way to the left eyebrow

   As you can see, this was much faster than using other methods. The thing with eyebrow pomade, which is my favorite product to use on the eyebrows, is that you have to dedicate more time and give it more attention. Yesterday, I needed to go out and I was catastrophically late. So, I used this method because I didn't have time to use the pomade. The difference between the eyebrow pencil and the pomade is when you blend in the pomade the color lightens up, but when you blend in the pencil, it becomes darker. That is why I did not push too hard or make it too dark.

   Blend in the eyebrow color

   .

   Using an eyebrow brush, I am going to brush the eyebrow to blend in the color. As you can see, it is adding to the color. I don't have straight borders like I do with the pomade. You may prefer this look over having straight clear eyebrow borders.

   Blend in the left eyebrow

   Now we are going to do our left side.

   Make sure the eyebrows are even

   .

   Let's check to make sure that the eyebrows are even in color. I believe I may have missed a spot in my right eyebrow, which I will fix. I might have blended a bit too much. I am also going to add a little bit of what on the left eyebrow.
