Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to customize an HTC One M8 home screen or panel by adding, moving, or removing applications.

   To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the 'Power' button located at the top of the phone

   .

   This will bring up the lock screen.

   Swipe up to unlock the phone

   This will bring us to the home screen.

   Once we're on the home screen, we need to place two fingers on the screen and pinch them together

   .

   This will allow us to edit the panels and the home screen.

   Tap on 'Widgets', then tap on 'Apps' to get to the apps section

   .

   This will list all of the apps on this phone. We can now add these apps directly to the home screen or any of the panels that we have created, or add more panels with more applications.

   To do this, we must first choose a panel

   Scroll left or right at the top to find the panel you want, then tap on it. It will have a blue border if it is selected.

   Press down on any application to send the icon to the panel

   In this example, we're going to move the 'Maps' application. The application will quickly move to the home screen.

   The 'Maps' application is now in the top left-hand corner of that panel

   We are going to tap on a few more to move them to the panel.

   We can add applications to other panels as well by pressing down on them

   When we're satisfied, press down on the selected panel

   .

   It will then bring us to that panel with all of the applications added to it. We can customize it further by moving these applications around.

    Press down on the icon and we will then be able to drag it

    We have to keep the finger on the screen until it is at the desired location. We can do this with every icon on the phone. We will feel the phone vibrate when the app is selected, then drag it and let go. We can also remove these applications from the panel.

    To remove an application, we will need to press and hold it again like we would when moving it, then drag it to 'REMOVE' in white lettering at the top next to a white trash can

    'REMOVE' and the trash can will then be highlighted in red, which means that the application is in the right place for us to remove it. Let go of it and the application will be removed from the panel, but not the phone. We can repeat this process with any application.
