   To begin, unlock the phone by pressing the power button on the top, right-hand side

   Then swipe up to get to the home screen

   The Pinterest icon is on the home screen in this example

   It is a red circle with a P inside of it. If the Pinterest icon is not on the home screen it can be accessed through the Apps menu. The Apps menu icon is on the lower, right-hand corner of the home screen. It is an icon of a grey box with a set of white squares inside of it.

   Tap on the Pinterest icon to open it directly from the home screen

   Now we can see the Pinterest feed

   We want to customize how it looks so that we are only viewing things related to our interests and to who we are following. In the white bar across the top of the screen there is a little grey icon of a person. The person is in the top right-hand corner.

   Tap on the person icon to find out more about the account

   Underneath the name and profile photos are things that we can view

   Scroll to the right and we will see "FOLLOWING" and "FOLLOWERS."

   Tap on "FOLLOWING" one time

    We can see that there are no Boards that are being followed but Interests have been selected

    Tap on the plus "+" sign in the upper left-hand corner to add to the Interests

    It is next to the first Interest which is Hiking.

    We will receive a pop-up that asks, "What are you interested in?"
