You're watching VisiHow. In this video, we're going to demonstrate how to crop a video clip using ScreenFlow on your Mac.

   To begin, make sure that you have the clip selected

   You can do this by clicking the timeline of the video.

   With the clip selected, hover over any anchor point on the preview screen and press "Ctrl" on the keyboard while clicking

   Anchor points are dots around the selected frame on the preview.

   You can then drag the anchor point in order to crop out a part of the video

   In this video, the application dock at the bottom of the clip can be removed.

   Note that if you click without holding the "Ctrl" key, the scale of the entire image will be adjusted

   .

   For this reason, it is important to hold down the "Ctrl" key if you want to crop the clip without losing proportions. For this tutorial, let's crop out the top and bottom.

   Once you have finished cropping, you can click and drag the same anchor points without holding the "Ctrl" key

   This will resize, or stretch vertically, the clip so that it fits the screen resolution setting.
