Hello and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to create a "My favorites" album and add photos to it in the Gallery application on an HTC One M8.

Steps

To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on the top of the phone

Once the phone has been activated, we will see the lock screen.

Unlock the phone by swiping the screen upwards

Once the phone has been unlocked, we will see the home screen, and at the bottom, we will see icons. We now need to focus on this section because we need to open up the applications folder.

Find the icon located at the bottom of the home screen in the middle
.
It looks like a grid made of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder. Press down on it, and the application folder will open.

Find the Gallery application
.
Here, it is located in the second row from the top, far left. The icon is a photo that looks like yellow sand dunes. Underneath, it says the word "Gallery". Press down on this icon and it will open up our Gallery application.

Let's create a favorites album
.
All we need to do is add our first photo, or to make our first photo our favorite photo. This will automatically create an album of favorites. To begin, press down on "All photos". We just need to enter any album to be able to choose a photo.

Find a photo to make a favorite

Press down on it and hold down until a menu appears.

Press down on the word "Favorite"

It will save this photo as a favorite.

Press down on the left-pointing arrow at the top of the screen to go back

This is the back button.

In the "Albums" section, we can now see that the "My favorites" album has been created

It currently only has one photo in it, which is the photo we just added to it.

Let's add more photos

It's the same process. Press "All photos", or any album, to find the photo we want.
