Hi, you're watching VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to create an invisible folder in Windows 7.
The first thing that you need to do is create a new folder. Right-click the desktop, hover over "New", then click "Folder".
When the "New Folder" text is highlighted blue, hold the Alt button and press 0160. Press enter. This will allow you to not have any text for the folder name. It will appear as though the folder name is hidden, and now we just need to hide the icon.
To hide the icon, right-click on the folder and click "Properties". This will bring up a window with 6 different tabs.
Click on the "Customize" tab. "Customize" is the last tab on the right.
Here you can choose from the list of existing icons. As you can see, there is an empty part here, which you can select. This will change the folder icon to no icon. Press OK when you have it selected.
An invisible folder has been created.
If you have a problem finding the folder, click and drag your mouse in the general area. You will see the folder show up.
You can access this folder by double clicking it.
This concludes our tutorial on how to create an invisible folder in Windows 7. Thanks for watching VisiHow. If you have any comments or questions, please leave them in the comment section below.
