Create an Event on the Calendar Application on HTC One M8

Hello and welcome to VisiHow. This is a tutorial on how to create an event in the Calender application on an HTC One M8.
Steps
- 1Once the phone has been activated we will see the lock screen.To begin, turn the phone on by pressing the power button located on top of the phone.
- 2Once the phone has been unlocked we will see the home screen, and at the bottom we will see 5 icons. We now need to open the application folder.To unlock the phone, swipe the screen up.
- 3There is a grid of white dots. This is the icon for the applications folder.We can do that by tapping the icon in the middle, at the bottom of the screen.
- 4In this example, it's located at the top of the screen. It's a calendar icon and it says the word "Calendar" underneath. This will open the calendar application. There are two ways to add an event in this application, but one of them is not always available.In this folder, we need to find and tap on the Calendar application.
- 5This option is only available if there is no event added to that particular date. In this example, we're currently on the 18th of June. If there's already an event added to this date, the option to add an event will not be at the bottom.At the bottom of the screen, it says the words "TAP TO ADD AN EVENT".
- 6This option is always here so we can always add an event using this icon. Press down on this plus sign to add an event.If it's not there, then we can use the plus (+) sign in the blue bar at the top of the screen.
- 7We're just going to choose "Meeting".The first thing we need to do is add an event name.
- 8This will automatically be the current time zone.Then, we can select the time zone by tapping on it.
- 9We don't need to do that, so we're going to go back by pressing the back arrow in the bottom left-hand corner of the screen.We can press "Show all" to see all of the time zones, then tap on the selected time zone.
- 10We will tap on the "FROM" time by tapping on it. We will select 04:30 PM. Press down on "OK" when finished. We can edit all of these options as we please.Now we can set the "FROM" and "TO" date and time.
- 11If we tap on it again, the box will no longer be blue, and the checkmark will be gone.We also have the option to make it an all-day event by tapping on "All day".
- 12Next, we can check the calendar if we want.
- 13Then we can set the status, set reminders, repetition, and privacy.
- 14We can also write an event description as well to add some more information to our event.
- 15Once we're happy with the event we press down on the word "SAVE" at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen.
- 16It will say "Event saved" and we can see that the selected day has a new icon on it.
- 17If we press down on another day, we will see the option to add an event by tapping on it.
- 18If we press down on the date that we just added the event to, the 18th, it shows the event information instead.
