Preparing the Container
Welcome to VisiHow. In today's tutorial, we will show you how to create an apple blossom flower arrangement. This is an elegant centerpiece or table arrangement using crabapple blossoms, strawberry flowers, vinca or periwinkle vine and snowball viburnum. We will create our arrangement in a crystal compote dish. This is part one of our four-part tutorial, in which we prepare the container.

- 12Snap or cut anything that is sticking out. This is an inexact science. We just want to make sure that this is in there really well, and isn't going to slide around. Remember to save the scraps. They are useful in other kinds of containers, such as for a funeral arrangement. We will cut even more foam and create a few more wedges. We want this nice and tight.Add the extra foam to the container.

- 16Make sure nothing is moving and that everything is firm and solid. This is really important. In fact, we are going to add one more strip of tape. We don't want anything falling out one we've put it in. However, we don't want to go overboard either. We don't want to take up too much of the space with tape, because we need exposed foam to put the flowers and greens in.Pick up the container and shake it gently.
- 17Now that we have prepared the container, we are ready for part two, where we begin to add flowers and greens. If you have any comments or questions, please feel free to leave them in the comments section below. This concludes part one of our tutorial on creating an apple blossom flower arrangement.

Add the First Flowers and Greens
Welcome to VisiHow. This is part two of a four-part tutorial, in which we show you how to create an apple blossom flower arrangement. In part one, we prepared our container. In this section, we will begin to add flowers and greens.
Steps

- 5Turn the container as we work. We want the stems to be cut pretty cleanly so that they will press into the foam easily. Once something is placed, try to leave it where it is. If we pull it out and re-place it, we risk creating an air pocket that a stem might meet and be unable to drink from.Continue cutting stems and placing greenery into the foam.
- 6Remember, this is an all-around arrangement. This is one of the reasons that we cut our floral foam to come out of the top of the container, so we can give the illusion that things are cascading downward. Our stems are a little bit soft, which can sometimes be a challenge.Place the greenery around the foam in a circle.

- 5On the whole, we try to stick with just a few colors in an arrangement. That way, things don't look too crazy. It keeps a more graceful look. This is also a bit more natural. A lot of times, things grow or bloom with just a few kinds or a few colors at a time. All of the flowers we are using are currently in bloom.Try to represent each color from each viewing angle.

Final Touches
Welcome to VisiHow! In this tutorial, we are showing you how to create an apple blossom flower arrangement. This is part four of four, in which we add the final touches, including snowball viburnum. This arrangement is an all-around arrangement, which means that it looks great from any angle. No matter where someone is sitting at the table, they will be able to enjoy it.
Steps

- 5We're really down to where we're trying to cover up anything that we don't want viewers to see. Anything that isn't as cute as we want it to look needs to be covered up. That's what the snowball viburnum are doing in this arrangement. They're really nice greens, and they have the cute little snowball.Turn the arrangement and continue adding snowball viburnum.

- 7Due to the heat that day, and the fact that we were working in direct sunlight for the filming, we had to replace a few of our greens. Don't be afraid to do this if anything begins to wilt. In addition, it's usually best to work with fresh floral materials in the shade.Keep an eye out for damaged or wilting items.

We also used snowball viburnum and leaves, as well as leaves from the bleeding heart plant.
