Create an Agenda and Edit it in Office Using Microsoft Lumia 535

Hello, and welcome to VisiHow. In this video, we are going to show you how to create an agenda in Microsoft Office when using a Microsoft Lumia 535.
Steps

To get started, press the power button on the right-hand side of the phone to turn it on
.

Slide the lock screen up to access the home screen

Find and tap the orange Microsoft Office tile with a white 3-D square on it
.
If it is not located on the home screen, find it in the app menu.

Next, press the black plus sign at the bottom of the screen

This will create a new document.

The keyboard will pop up
.
To edit the agenda, double-tap the word "Agenda". It will become highlighted, and two circles will appear underneath the word. Move the circles to highlight a different area of the agenda.

To delete the selection, highlight it and press the "delete" button, which is a black "x" inside a black box
.

Type in a name with the keyboard to replace the deleted selection

Double-tap any other section of the agenda to highlight it, or single-press anywhere on the screen to move the cursor

Press to highlight a word itself

Tap a space between words to bring up the cursor with a white circle below it.

Press and drag the circle below the cursor to drag the cursor anywhere on the page

Press the "..." button on the bottom-left of the screen to access the menu, which displays icons for "format", "find", "comment" and "outline"

Go back to the agenda screen and press "format", which appears as a black circle with a paintbrush inside it

The formatting options will appear that include bold, italic, underline, highlight and font color
.

Press the white arrow key on the bottom-left of the screen to go back to the agenda

Double-tap to highlight "date, start time - end time and location"

Press the "format" button

Press the "bold" icon to make the text bold

You can't choose multiple options at the same time
.
For each option, press the "format" button to return the the formatting screen. Return to the formatting screen and choose the red highlight. Press away from the text to see its format with bold text and red highlight.

To add a comment to an area that won't show up in the agenda, select the area on the agenda and press the "comment" button, which has a picture of a speech bubble with a plus sign in it

Enter a comment in the text box

Tap the agenda screen, and the word that was selected will be highlighted by a violet text box, which indicates that there's a comment here
.
It will not appear directly on the agenda. Press the box to view the comment.

Select another area and press the "comment" button
.
Add another comment and tap the agenda section of the screen to return to the agenda.

Tap on the violet box to open the comment, and press the black circles with the arrows to cycle or scroll through the different comments in the agenda

To copy and paste things in the agenda, tap to highlight some text
.
Above it, there is a grey circle with two white pieces of paper in it. Press the circle, which is the "copy" button.

Tap another area on the agenda, and press the black circle with a clipboard in it

This is the "paste" button.

Press the icon on the far-left on the bottom of the screen, the black circle with three black horizontal lines in it

This will bring up all the different parts of the agenda and make it easier to find a section quickly.

Scroll through the items and select an area in the agenda

Press it to see the screen jump directly to that area on the agenda.

It is also useful because it shows which areas have comments

To search, press the magnifying glass on the bottom of the screen

Search for text in the agenda with the keyboard that pops up

Press the "..." to open the "save", "save as..." and "share..." options
.
The agenda can be shared via email or Bluetooth.

Press "share..." and click "yes" at the prompt

Choose a file name and save it to the desired location, such as the phone, SD card or OneDrive

To access the file from a different device, such as a laptop, save it to "OneDrive". Press "save".

A window will pop up with several sharing options

To share it with Outlook, press "Outlook" Other email providers may be listed there, as well.

An email will pop up with the agenda attached

To go back to the document, press the white arrow on the bottom of the phone.
